The license plate light being out is a scam…. because 3/4 of the time after the stop is over, they still work just fine- what a coincidence. But you’ll never know because you’ve been arrested and by the time you get out of the joint and get your car from the impound lot, you wouldn’t have realized that your argument in court could’ve and should’ve been unlawful traffic stop. But you had no way of proving it. And if you knew and had proof, you couldn’t be convicted with anything based on the unlawful nature of the initial traffic stop, theres case law that supports this.

I got stopped when I was a teenager and when the cop asked where I was going…I said I was just out driving around…he asked where I was going again and I answered him again I’m just out driving around not going anywhere in particular…he looked at me like I was being a smart ass and kinda got rude to me…then I explained that teenagers will just cruise around not going anywhere but just driving around aimlessly and then will go home…not doing anything wrong…just cruising…then the ops chilled out a bit after that when they discovered we were simply out cruising and hanging out to talk and bs when we congregated on a parking corner and sat on our trunks and bs’ed…..that was one of the best times in my hometown cuz the cops finally got it and left us all alone and were cool…now they’re back to being tyrants
