Any police department that has a “special team” or unit specifically focused a single initiative like drug enforcement or dui enforcement is automatically going to be problematic. Members of these units eventually end up going out of their way to run up arrests focused on that initiative, whether the arrestees are actually guilty or not. These “special” officers often have higher incentives and pay, which ends up negatively motivating them.

The prosecutor needs to prosecute the charges, the public are not safe with that cop on the streets, he admitted he was guilty then stomped all over it by continuing he apologized for letting the case go on as long as it did He never admitted purposely falsifying his report and I think I need to prepare myself better on my reports and testimony and this wouldn't be a situation that happened today. That does not sound like an apology and at that the judge should have denied the plea deal as he said he was guilty but it was mere words he was not sorry about anything. It says a whole lot about police officers sitting in court in uniform to support him what do cops need to do to have the "good" cops oust the bad cops, definitely not following the oath they swore to, they just follow the oath they took to each other.
Sounds like the special prosecutor was a corrupt piece of crap and he did what happens every single time a police officers about to be held accountable.
