A 27 year old mom with a 6 year old little boy safely buckled in the rear seat pulls into an Arkansas gas station in a white Lincoln sedan. Suddenly multiple police cars speed towards her, slamming on their brakes. Multiple Arkansas State Troopers (Troop “L”) jump out aiming rifles and pistols at the mom, as well as her innocent 6 year old son. But it was the wrong car and the wrong suspect. And the worse thing about this incident is what these cops did after they realized their mistake.

I recently saw a video of a nearly identical scenario, except the source of their misinformation wasn't from an air tag, but rather from flock cameras.
The camera system identified a car as having the license plate number that was being looked for, but didn't identify the issuing state, which wasn't the same as the issuing state for the plate they were looking for.
Because of all of the issues flock cameras have created, I would wager they stated their source as an air tag so they can continue using flock.
