An innocent 19 year old college student, who doesn’t drink, doesn’t do drugs, is studying at the library and he ends up getting arrested by some cops who apparently have something to prove. He did nothing wrong. He complied with everything they asked him to do. He was polite. And most importantly, he was completely sober. Yet that didn’t save him from these cops and local authorities, determined to ruin the kid’s life. Even after his innocence was completely proven, every authority figure in this kid’s life, chose to back the blue over him – the police over the truth.

  1. And cops wonder why they get so much hate. It’s because of cops like these 3 – who had zero regard for the impact an DUI arrest would have on an innocent Citizen. They seem to look for ways to make discretionary arrests. Rather than be most concerned about protecting the fundamental Rights of the Citizens who (collectively) pay their salaries.

  2. You should NEVER take those stupid monkey tests. They are administered by morons, like the cop in this video, and are designed to gather evidence against you. And btw, shame on all these "back the blue" bootlickers. So long as THEIR rights aren't being violated, they just don't care. And to all the MADD folks out there cheering over arrest like this, tell me something, how did these Gestapo idiots make us safer? There were probably ACTUAL impaired drivers out there putting YOU in danger while these incompetent cops wasted their time on an innocent driver.

  3. Your true character is measured by how you behave when nobody is watching, and this stand-up lad could've easily NOT reported the accident. Next time he won't, having learned that no good deed goes unpunished. Officer Beerbelly must've lost a girl to a college student, or something of the sort.

  4. The only thing Shorter @ this University is the intelligence of the officers on site. Like John Bryant, just think of how many of these go unchecked that aren't covered by channels such as his. Officers must be held accountable for such egregious mistakes like these that have been made. Put this whole guy's future in Jeopardy a possible D1 future. HELL FUTURE REGARDLESS. Most of the Student-Athlete Codes of Conduct are very strict with zero tolerance and this may have derailed his future completely. Unacceptable and officers making these mistakes 100% knowingly after the kid did the right thing is just unacceptable

  5. Don't blame Florida, these bogus DUI arrests are happening all across the U.S. A nearly identical incident involving another teen (Tayvin Galanakis*) happened in Iowa. He was also a college freshmen, and an athlete. He blew a 0.0 on the breathalyzer yet still failed the sobriety test according to the cops that arrested him.

Cops can arrest you for DUI based solely on their feelings. For a motorist, this is probably the easier arrest any cop can make.

What's really scary is that teenage males can't pass the sobriety tests (according to the cops), yet all of these failed systems are still in effect and being used daily to turn completely innocent people into criminals and ruin their lives. A DUI is among our most serious crimes on the books and follows you your entire life.

The U.S. has literally turned its criminal justice system into a major corporation. In America, criminalizing the population, its big business.

  6. These are the dumbest cops being hired by a system designed to keep the judicial system rolling. All you have to do is look into who is training and hiring these brainless idiots. It is all be design.

  7. Don't take fst's, they're so subjective, that police can say you failed even though you performed perfectly. You're better off losing your license for a year. Rather than your life is ruined, costs can be as high as 10-20,000 dollars, and your going to lose your driving "privilege" anyway. Just don't do fst's, and remain silent.

  8. Is there no way to hold the department responsible? They argued he was disciplined for incomplete filing of a report but couldn't it be argued that even if he did completely fill the report he had nothing to go on? All the great cop shows I grew up watching had internal affairs as some kind of Boogeyman that was out to get good cops but as I grow older I wonder if internal affairs even exists.

  9. If you want comments, you can’t limit me to only giving a legitimate reason for this arrest. That would limit me to ZERO.BUT, if you want me to speculate on why the Dunce duo thought they had PC, I would say it’s because they don’t suffer any consequences for being wrong. It’s a dragnet approach; haul in EVERYONE, there’s bound to be a drunk driver somewhere in the mix. Heads, I win. Tails, you lose.

  10. This guy didn't even identify the requisite number of clues on each of the SFSTs to establish arrest criteria. That means that there was no probable cause for the arrest.

That is absolutely poor police work.

  11. The south has both the best and the worst people in our beautiful country. It’s a shame this accent has been correly with ignorance and bigotry. FYI, Rome is also a major hub for cells of white supremacist groups. 😂
