Once again, cops constantly have to prove to everyone that they are monsters, not people. People don't treat others this way.
Contempt of cop, the bully wanted to exert his authority inching into the intersection wanting the oncoming traffic to yield to him. When that didn't happen his ego took over.

The lesson I get from many of these videos is: get everything on camera, let them say whatever dumb things they want, exercise your right to be minimally conversive, and comply. You don't need to prove you're right on the spot. They won't be convinced anyway. Very few people have ever talked themselves out of a ticket or arrest. Wait and argue before a judge.

The technical law may not require it, but if I was in a dedicated left-turn lane which means I don't have to worry about impeding traffic behind me, and I saw ANYONE – cop or not – pulling out like that, I would wait for them.
