Be careful don’t get pulled over because your car has daytime running lights that use your full headlights. Most newer cars don’t do that but some older cars did. Newer cars the DRLs can’t be mistaken as headlights at night. That said I don’t even understand why cars just don’t all have the ability to have the headlights and taillights automatically come on anytime the car is on.
3 of my 4 cars have the ability to have the headlights and taillights come on when I turn the car on. It’s either a switch or a setting in the system so it’s not required. All 4 of my cars have daytime running lamps which is a completely different thing than auto headlights which when turned on mean that anytime the car is one the headlights and taillights are running. It’s not auto as in daylight sensor either. Although I have 1 car that can do that but it can also just always have them on which is what I choose to do.
Anyways be careful which your car has.

Mark Oakley is a former officer for the town who was fired on March 25, 2024, following an internal investigation related to his use of Tasers. Despite his termination, Oakley continued to work for the town of LIttleton as a part-time officer.
