No officer you are violating the law but the only recourse is to file against you in the court and the citizens pick up the tab for your criminal act!!! We need all cowboy officers that knowingly violate their oath calling it investigation to be held accountable to the public they harm. A citizen review board that can revoke certifications of officers that knowingly violated their oath making them recertify before active duty can take place if repeated violations termination losing all authority and ability to serve!!!

Another example of young, inexperienced, ill-educated, minimally-trained, arrogant, stubborn and full of hubris cops. We MUST do better in personnel selection, training and oversight of these people. And there’s a need for a wholesale review of suitability for those cops who don’t deserve to fill that position.
It amazes me how many officers are ignorant of the laws they are trying to enforce!most dont even know the constitution that they swear an oath to uphold! Envoking your rights isnt obstruction! Also he isn't required to identify unless he has reasonable articulable suspicion that has, is about to or is going to commit a crime. Why do so many cops dont understand this and they think that anyone they come in contact with they can force them to identify!
