As a construction worker I have probably missed out on about 50% of all of the pay I would have ever made because of the undercut from illegal migrants that automatically devalued my labor.
My dad told me about it when I first got into the business, there's no money unless you're one of the owners, because the workers have to face the undercut, and lose half of their income.
And the owners don't have a say either because they have to compete with the other owners who are using the undercut labor so there is no competition against illegal migrant users

I will i work construction. Legal construction, and they get jobs under the table that don't require insurance or get paid way less cause they cannot complain. So yes It does effect all construction worker pay directly
