Without a warrant they cannot detain you while they investigate, they must prove RAS reasonable articulable suspicion, someone calling and reporting is called hearsay, that can be a false or mistaken presumption therefore not enough for detainment, otherwise people would be calling 911 just to have people held and arrested. Now this is where education comes in, while recording you tell the officers, Im am putting you on record, as you swore under OATH to support and defend the US constitution, if you continue past this legal and lawful notice you are knowingly and willfully committing PERJURY of your oath, 18 U.S. Code § 3571 – Sentence of fine (3) for a felony, not more than $250,000; for the record are you willfully going to continue to violate my civil rights knowing its a felony charge? After saying this tell them you are going to invoke your 5th amendment right to remain silent. If you do this you have a guaranteed win in court, if the officer continues he will be found guilty as he was legally warned and accepted the consequence on the record.
