Coast Guard officer, Shane Sprague, bought a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X on June 21 from Doral Volkswagen in South Florida. For many years, Shane had wanted this specific truck: a GMC 1500 AT4X. He worked hard, and made sacrifices, to be able to save money for the down payment. He put down a $15,000 deposit, traded in a 2012 Ford Focus for $1,500, and financed the rest of the $61,230 purchase price through the dealer. A dealership employee even snapped a photo of Shane looking happy with his purchase, and later texted him, thanking him for the sale and wishing him well. But, 10 days later, on July 1, an unmarked F-150 rammed his rear bumper, and he was arrested at gunpoint by Broward County deputies…

  2. I bet this is another flock license plate reader Surveillance mistake . Of course they will not admit it! Third party collection data. They are being very vague! He needs to sue! Average person doesn’t even know they are being surveyed constantly

  3. How fantastic a group of lawless blue line gang members don't need a crime or even a suspicion of any crime to ram someone kidnap them torture and remove all their rights. !! Gotta love Qualified Immunity, the get out of any crime clause for corrupt cops.

  4. Face it, the decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States created this issue by allowing cops to use deadly weapons to arrest people who β€œmay” have committed a felony….oh, and cops can shoot you in the back if you run away from them…

  5. In 1990, the same thing happened to my husband and me. Dealer gave us a loaner car, and an employee that inventory the lot was not told, and he reported it stolen. We were driving to in-laws and got pulled over because the dealer plate fell out of the back window. Cop let us go, but about 5 miles down the road, they were waiting for us. Pulled us over a gun point. Taken to jail until dealership was called and our story verified. Spent about 7 hrs in custody. The kicker was I was 7 months pregnant. Its sad they react this way.

  6. Each cop involved, as well as that dealership and the employee that f**ked up the registration and with the stolen auto report? Every single one of those SOB's would be paying me, and I would OWN that entire dealership.

  7. Good ol felony traffic stop. Auto theft being a felony and all. They ❀ this stuff. πŸ˜‚ similar thing happened local to me, dealership GM used a dealer plate, cops said plate reported stolen, so they tossed the GM and his wife on the ground like mafia kingpins. Sad and hilarious all at the same time. These cops here can't even choke up a sincere apology. Heroes…yeah right

  8. Shane sadly sat their boolicked the arses off these cops & it was a pitiful, sick & sad sight to watch in the full video – Shane stop suckin' on the teat of the blue lyin' lazy criminal thug cops. They did you you dirty they ain't your buddies mate.

  9. Most of these cops are worthless human garbage. They’ve made themselves that way because of their love of power and bullying. They lied to themselves when they were 18 and joined the academy, telling themselves all sorts of BS like they are going to be respectable, uphold justice, blah blah..

  10. The employee at the dealership caused this entire scenario to happen.
Wait, how did the cops even find the truck in that parking lot?
Only explanation is a tracker in the truck, right?

  11. I was a first responder for 23yrs, and on of the things I learned is that you will NEVER EVER EVER hear a police officer admit a mistake, or acknowledge wrongdoing unless it is cartoonishly obvious that they screwed up, and trying to deny it would be even more humiliating than admitting the F'up. Otherwise they will plow forward regardless, and employ every last rationalization humanly possible, no matter how ludicrous or absurd.

Which means that even when any reasonable person can clearly see what's going on, most cops will ignore that and do/say whatever paints them in the best light. Proceed accordingly when interacting with them.

  12. In my opinion, the truck is ruined because, while it may be repairable, any panels that have been repainted will never be a perfect match with the rest of the vehicle, and not only that but panels that are banged back into shape and then bondo'd over will rust prematurely. The dealership should have to give him 10 grand to compensate him for this in addition to paying for the repairs and for any costs associated with retrieving the truck from the compound yard.
