According to Manheim Township (Pennsylvania) Police, Benny Xavier Pena-Rivera, 24, was charged with aggravated assault, evading arrest or detention on foot, resisting arrest, reckless driving, driving under suspension- DUI related and five counts of summary vehicle code violations after he assaulted the police chief and fled the scene during a traffic stop. The only problem was… video later surfaced contradicting the story alleged by police chief Duane Fisher, who performed the stop, and who is now under investigation.

  1. It's sad that politicians say that we live in a society of law and order to achieve the goal of a peaceful society. However, when those given the power to achieve that ,are corrupt and flat out abuse the authority given them for that lofty ideal our society suffers imerseurably. This video clearly demonstrates that.

  2. NO uniform, NO lights, NO badge displayed. That should make this a case of "Wielding/Menacing with a Firearm" and he should be treated and charged exactly the same, and carry the same penalties as it would be for a civilian. The guy on the bike had no way of knowing who the guy threatening him was.

  3. Liars! Protecting the bad blue! Totally uncalled for in the case of "possible " traffic violations. Absolute disgust for this law informant officer, which i say loosely. He should be fired yesterday. Nonetheless the people covering for him. Just disgusting behavior 😡🤬🤬

  4. How can anyone claim that no one is above the law when one of the parties involved has qualified immunity? Especially if that side is also the most powerful because it is allowed to carry weapons and lie, then there is no equality before the law and no protection by the law.

  5. Judge Dredd power tripper.
Their lies undermines any chance of believing slithers of truth. And how would physically grabbing the guy at gun point within 5 seconds be a reasonable traffic stop (aside lights, uniform etc)?

If that’s a lawful traffic stop, I wouldn’t live in that state.

  6. How many innocent people are in prison because of cops like this? That chief clearly lied on his report and if he doesn’t get in deep trouble, something is wrong!!!

  7. God forbid police be held accountable. That guy shouldn’t be pleading guilty to anything and that police chief needs to be in jail for at least a year. Stop excusing cops’ bad behavior. Criminals serve time. It doesn’t matter which side of the law you represent.
