Look chilly I agree with you on a lot. You’re pretty spot on mostly. These cops definitely shouldn’t be beating dude in cuffs no matter what, but I don’t agree, that that’s the incorrect response to being spat on. I’m just gonna let it be known idc what my position is if I’m a cop or a judge or a senator, if you spit on me I lose all control. It’s over. Whatever job I held and whatever standards I’m supposed to abide by are out the window. Someone has got to go. I don’t go out into the world at the beginning of the day preparing to be spat on. I don’t expect anyone else to either. Once someone breaks that line of contact, it’s got to be dealt with accordingly or society will break down there has to be a threat of serious violence for such an act. I bet at least 3 different people saw this that thought they could spit on someone and decided against it because they saw what could happen to them. I say they handled it. Wrongly, but dude won’t do that again.
