Remember the video I did back in July of 2023, with attorney Chris Wiest, about the lawsuit that he had just filed for a guy named Demetrius Kerns?
Original Video from July, 2023: https://youtu.be/Wvwwt18HNns?si=TI3iPi3meQdNb8m5
Kerns was almost hit by a police officer who was driving recklessly. Then when he stopped to get her information afterwards, and she apologized to him, her supervisor then showed up and began to escalate the situation, demanding Mr. Kerns’ ID and ultimately putting him in handcuffs – and later falsely charging him with obstruction, in retaliation for the fact that he was filming and being critical of the police. As Chris and I discussed, eventually he would have the opportunity to take the depositions of these two officers. Well, it’s been a couple of years now and I have an update for you. The case isn’t over yet. It’s still pending. These things can take years. But I actually have the full video depositions of these two officers, and I’m going to go through them with you so that you can hear exactly what they had to say when confronted under oath. First, part 1 – the sworn testimony of Officer Carly Lewis. And then in Part 2 we’ll get to the rather-unbelievable video testimony of her supervisor, Sergeant Naftali Wolf.

  1. Why was he soooooo upset about being ALMOST run off the road? She apologized and he should have moved on. It didn't really matter who was at fault because there were no damages at that point. He kept on pushing the "almost" issue, which led to the Sgt escalating the situation.

  2. Most if not all cops have a god complex and they really do believe they are "the law." If you don't bow down and worship them, you will taste their superiority. Remember, you may beat the rap, but you can't beat the ride even if your innocent but hurt their feelings.

  3. It's an incredible leap of logic to agree with the decision to drop the charges, and yet to still believe that Mr. Kern's rights were not violated. The Mind of a Police Officer is a… mess, full of cognitive dissonance. And yet somehow they go about their days as if that dissonance doesn't exist.

  4. Great update John. But my new question is…… what traffic violation or crime did Mr. Goodwin commit at that time for the officers to pull him over. Having the same color vehicle doesn’t 🤬 cut it. More evidence of 🤬cops violating “ we the people “ 4th Amendment rights. Let’s go Part 2

  5. The problem I see here, after watch countles "civil rights violations" is the term "civil rights". Our civil rights are LAWS. If I steal a candy bar, it's against the law. I could go to jail for it. A CANDY BAR! Is it written in the very basis of government that I can't steal a candy bar? No. But my constitutional rights are, and there is NO criminal liability for someone that willfully violates our basic rights. This is why government official don't take them seriously. This is why government officials routinely and thoughtlessly violate them, and have the attitude of "just let the courts sort it out". Look, I don't want to make a fortune out of a claim, I want someone to be penalized for it, and not just monetarily when they took an oath to PROTECT MY RIGHTS! And the moment a cop says "we gotta charge him with something", that case should be dismissed because it's proof that what they did was a violation of someone's rights. They arrested someone without any particular charge in mind – violated their constitutional rights.

  6. God why you got to leave us with a cliff hanger. Officer Lewis was a little jumpy at first but eventually said sorry my bad basically admitting that she almost caused an accident. Now she is trying to tow the fine line of not totally saying she was in the wrong and trying to back up her fellow officers. If she were to tell the actual truth she would most likely lose her job because other officers wouldn't trust her. This is a major problem with the culture of Local Police in our country.

  7. this original video annoyed me so much.. she either didn't properly convey herself to her sergeant or capitulated to her superior either against her own (weakly held) values to the detriment of those she was meant to protect.

  8. Do as I say not as I do and remember I'm the police. I don't give a damn that I cut you off. I am the police. You're intimidating me you taking my attention away from the suspect. If gas lighting where the police.

Thank God for body cams and cell phones. Your gas lighting bullshit has made you famous😮😮😮😮😮
